The young man comes back, in his hand hold a knife:
''I?ll kill this young maiden ?cause she?s devil?s wife.''

And the crowd begins to whisper: ''She?s a witch, she is wild
she must go, we don?t want her, we don?t need a hell?s child''

She turns back from the sea and there stands the young guy
so nice and so strong and so lovely in her eyes
He comes near to embrace her, she?s happy as can be
the cold knife in her heart she never will feel.

And the crowd began to whisper: ''He?s a devil, he is wild
he must go, we don?t want him, has killed an innocent child.''
