Set: Four couples in square formation.
Music: Rainbow Schottische [Rondo form, 2/4 meter, MM quarter note = 144]
Basic Step: [1-2] Step-together-step-hop 2x [3-4] Step-hop 4x (Lead with outside foot)
A Intro: Honors
[1-4] Honor partner, [5-8] honor opposite.
A Chorus 1: Zig-Zag
[1] Couples zig into set with basic step in closed position, [2] zag out 90 deg.  to right couple's place and
[3-4] pivot 4x (turning step-hops) to opposite place.  [5-8] Repeat to return home.
B Fig.1: Changing Partners
[1-2] In open position (gent's R arm around partner's waist, lady's LH on his back) head couples go into
set.  [3-4] Gents take opposite lady in closed position and pivot 4x home.  [5-8] Repeat for sides.  (Keep
this new partner for most of the rest of the dance.)
A Chorus 2: Right Through & Back
[1-2] Heads face the couple on their right; sides face left.  Pass through set taking opposite's RH on [2]
and pulling by and [3-4] pivot 2x with partner to opposite place (with head couples taking the outside
track).  [5-8] Repeat to return home
C Fig.  2a: Ladies' Star
[1] Four ladies move left into set forming a star.  [2] Taking RH, ladies turn almost ?.  [3-4] Looking first
at right corner gentleman, ladies then cast over left shoulder back to opposite gentleman.
[5-8] Ladies complete one slow LH turn with opposite gent, placing the gent inside the set.
C Fig.  2b: Gentlemen's Star
[1-4] Gents repeat first half of Ladies' Star.  [5-8] Couples schottische in place in closed position, turning
2x [Note: “home” has now moved to opposite place]
A Chorus 3: Open Half Promenade
[1-2] Couples open promenade to RH couple's place (gents R arm around lady's waist, lady's LH on
gent's back.) [3-4] Open pivots to opposite place.  [5-8] Repeat to return home
