I see you everywhere
I feel your touch upon my hand
You are my breath you are my singing
I see you everywhere
It wasn't quite what I had planned
But still I find you set my spirit ringing
It only took a moment
It only took a song
You only took my lifetime
And taught me how to sing along
I see you everywhere
I still can feel your one brief glance
Somehow the memory renews me
I see you everywhere
That bright and happy happenstance
Began the feelings that suffuse me
I may be acting foolish
I may be out of line
You may be unaware that you have
Made me feel so very fine
I see you everywhere
I know it's not the same for you
But just the thought of you elates me
I see you everywhere
I try to write my own songs too
But still your skill intimidates me
I know I have to try it
I know I just might fall
You know that I will be there
If you ever get the urge to call
