A wintry, Christmas kind
Was cracked and leaking saline slime

Was bounced from walk to flooding grate
Unmercifully tossed
And placed beneath the chimney, intent
To fill the vial w/ ink
My pen ran drink
W/ scratching signs
All scars besides
