The things He said had all come true

The very man I followed out of Galilee

It was a revelation when He called my name
I realized I would never be the same again

Each encounter was producing faith
It gave me the power step by step to run the race
I didn't look back I just pressed on
To see the Glory of the rising Son

I knew I was no different than the foolish man
Who tried to build his house on wild and shifting sands
There stood Jesus looking at me
In His loving eyes I felt my heart set free

Eye to eye and face to face
His love was constant He always gave the same embrace
In that moment I was able to see
Why I followed Him from Galilee

His revolution was the call to love
A sacred journey the quest to always rise above
Eternal life was
Eye to eye

I saw forgiveness and unfailing love
I found my vision in the eyes of God
