As I was turning, turning in the square,
I felt confusion.
Lost my direction, jumped into a cloud
that looked appealing.
I watched my thoughts fog, clouded by the clouds
that I ingested.
And then I woke up, imprisoned by the walls
I had constructed.
She gave me water...
I prayed for water...
I needed water...
I'd like to drown.
Fate left me shattered, battered in the square
I'd been defeated.
I held my head low, bowing from the weight
I glanced around me.
I saw a shadow, drifting like a cloud,
I sensed compassion.
And then she whispered softly in my ear
and I was lifted.
