I was lucky i got out of the books early.
I was so smart when i was a child that I learnt that I was dumb, fast.
That’s the way it is with everything, not just me.
You’re taught that you can’t, they even give you the word, take all the words
away and don’t think in right and wrong, just think in truth.
and all the answers are there.
The sound of one hand clapping is simply the sound of one hand clapping.
There’s no bigger answers.
All the big colleges that we’ve been building, it’s taking people the other way.
The smartest people in the world are really the most cut off.

Progress?
There’s no such thing as progress, there’s only change.
You dig a hole in the ground and you build a city, and you fight a war and you
call it progress.
And it’s a beautiful game and it’s a perfect game and whoever wants to keep on
playing the general can go ahead and kill themselves, but I wouldn’t want to
play that game myself.
But it they want to play it, I love them for it, if they want to go ahead and
kil each other.
The only reason they’re over there is 'cos they want to be.
And they can say but and maybe, but what it boils down to man, is this one
thing, aslong as there’s hate in your heart there’ll be hate in the world.
You cannot capture freedom, you can’t fight for peace.
It’s just a simple idea, a little baby could figure out, but we’ve been putting
cancer in it’s brain.

Нет такого понятия, как прогресс, есть только изменения.
Ты выкапываешь яму и строишь город, ведёшь войну — называешь это прогрессом.

Это красивая игра, идеальная, тот, кто хочет продолжать быть командующим, может покончить с собой.
Я не желал бы участвовать в этой игре.
Но если они решат играть — я люблю их за это, если хотят продолжать взаимное уничтожение.

Единственная причина, по которой они там — потому что хотят быть.
Они могут говорить «но» и «может быть», но всё сводится к одному: пока есть ненависть в сердце, будет ненависть в мире.

Свободу не захватишь, за мир не постреляешься.
Это простая идея — ребёнок мог бы понять, но мы кладем раковую опухоль в его мозг.
